Understanding your legal rights

We've partnered with Access Social Care to provide ‘AccessAva’ - a digital service that helps you to navigate the complexities of health and social care.

How do I use AccessAva?

You can access the digital tool by clicking the purple icon that appears in the bottom right of your screen when you’re on this page.

AccessAva will then ask you a few questions to work out what you need and provide the information best suited to what you’re looking for.

What is AccessAva?

AccessAva is a free, easy-to-use digital assistant that directs you to the legal guidance and resources that you need, from explanations of the law and national guidance and template letters to written factsheets and short videos.

All these resources cover a wide range of issues including, but not limited to:

  • Safeguarding
  • Concerns with care packages (including cuts to care and support)
  • Health funding
  • Mental capacity

Please note, Access Ava relates to the law in England for people over the age of 18
