Team behind Choice Care’s employee app wins in Staffbase VOICES Awards

The team behind ChoiceHub, the employee app for Choice Care Group colleagues, has won ‘Best Frontline Champion’ in the Staffbase VOICES London Awards 2026.  

This award recognises teams that go above and beyond to inform, connect and give colleagues a voice. The judges felt that the Marketing Team had been successful in creating a joyful, social space for colleagues, while ensuring everyone feels up to date with the latest organisation news.  

Choice Care is a leading provider of specialist support for adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and acquired brain injuries across over 140 services in England and Wales. As most colleagues are not desk based and have different shift patterns, an employee app at Choice Care needed to be a space that people could use at any time to feel part of one organisation. In partnership with the team at Staffbase, the team created a mobile-first, inclusive and accessible platform that could be used on the go or at a desk. 

Initiatives like ChoiceHub Wrapped, inspired by the iconic Spotify Wrapped, and a consistent, transparent ‘You said, We did’ approach to actioning changes based on colleague feedback, as well as word of mouth, have helped ChoiceHub reach more people and keep users engaged. With strong engagement rates and increasing participation across the group, the ChoiceHub community continues to grow.

The award winners were announced at a ceremony in London on Thursday 4th June.
