Five new services in Fareham join Choice Care Group!
Choice Care today announced that it has been successfully selected via a competitive procurement process under the Hampshire Younger Adults Supported Accommodation service, to provide support to 16 people across five supported living sites in Fareham. Choice Care supports adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs to live happy, independent lives in supported living and residential homes across England and Wales.
As part of the transition to Choice Care Group, the services have transferred with an established team of 20 experienced colleagues, including Service Manager Tracey-Ann Kelly and Deputy Service Manager Kathy McGhee, who bring valuable expertise.
The team at Choice Care has been working with Hampshire County Council and the previous provider to provide a smooth transition to ensure that the people and colleagues in Fareham have continuity of care.
Tracey-Ann Kelly, Service Manager says: ’We are really enjoying getting to know the Choice Care team and learning more about their values and approach. My colleagues and I are excited to be joining Choice Care, continuing to deliver great support and building new opportunities together for the people we support.’
Amy Ranger Pitt, Deputy Operations Director, Choice Care, says: ‘We are really looking forward to working with our new colleagues and the people supported in Fareham. From the extensive training we’ve already completed together, it’s clear that this will be an excellent partnership. We’re excited to build on the strong foundations already in place and to ensure everyone has the opportunity to thrive, as we continue providing outstanding, person-centred care.’
The service builds on the long-standing partnership that Choice Care has with Hampshire County Council, with whom the organisation has provided specialist residential and supported living support across the county for many years. Choice Care is delighted to be able to offer more choice of support for individuals who draw on social care, across Fareham and the wider area, to enable everyone to live the lives they want.
