Behind the scenes: Where Care Means More
The people we support
Everything we do starts with people, so it was only right that our video did too. Rather than using actors, we focused on real homes, colleagues and people, highlighting the real moments that make living with Choice so special.
Our aim was to show the real nature of care at Choice: built on trust, and empowering people to lead the lives they want to lead. Across two days, our marketing team, website team and videographer (https://www.jamesdove.co.uk) travelled to different, unique locations to show the variety of options people have at Choice. We visited our Welsh services, showing the farm and countryside lifestyle, as well as Gloucestershire, with more rural homes with hustle and bustle.
We were keen for the people we support to showcase what they love. Whether it’s achieving their goals, pursuing their passions, or their favourite home comforts, we wanted everyone to have the chance for their voice and stories to be heard.
The making of the video
Filming day was a brilliant example of teamwork. Our dedicated colleagues stepped confidently into the spotlight, showing the compassion they bring to their roles every day. With plenty of laughter and a few retakes, and making sure everyone was comfortable throughout, we were able to get a beautiful finished result.
