Our Wales supported living services were awarded an 'Excellent' rating by CIW!

We’re delighted to announce that our Welsh Supported Living have received an overall ‘Excellent’ rating from its recent CIW inspection!

Our supported living services support adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health conditions in their own homes across the Neath Port Talbot and Swansea area.

The CIW report recognised the people we support receive consistent high levels of care, with a dedicated and compassionate team, and families are confident in the care their loved ones receive. One family member, when talking about the team supporting their loved one, said

“It’s been the making of him… We can’t put into words how happy we are. You make someone’s life better every day”.

The report also captured “Care colleagues have exceptional knowledge of people’s needs and backgrounds. Personal plans are extremely detailed and include clear strategies for managing risks to people’s health, safety and well-being. We saw that care colleagues maintain high quality recordings regarding the care and support they provide. These recordings demonstrate that colleagues consistently support people in accordance with personal plans and encourage them to achieve their desired goals.”

Similarly, external professionals stated that Care Without Compromise go above and beyond for the people they support:

“I have been highly satisfied with CWC as a provider, and it has been great working with them The Responsible Individual (RI) and manager are highly effective leaders who inspire others. They have instilled strong values amongst the team and created a positive working culture which motivates colleagues. Care colleagues receive an excellent level of support which significantly benefits their personal and professional development. The management team take pride in delivering a high-quality service that is constantly developing.”

Lee Bates, Responsible Individual for the Care Without Compromise services, said:

“I am extremely proud of the service and the team, who work diligently to achieve and maintain excellent ratings. They consistently receive positive feedback from families, and their efforts have also been recognised by CIW.”

This ‘Excellent’ CIW rating is a testament to the commitment and professionalism of the Welsh Supported Living team.
