Support Overview

Supported Living in Slough with Choice Care gives you the flexibility to live life your way. We can support a wide range of people with different needs, from those who are mostly independent to those who benefit from dedicated support.

Across the area, we currently support up to nine people across two shared homes. But if this isn’t for you, you can also choose to stay in your own home, or move into another property provided by a housing association or our local authority partners.

This gives you options – whether you’d prefer to live in an apartment with a small group of neighbours, the privacy of your own home or something in between. Whatever you’re looking for, there’s something for you here.

Our colleagues will first get to know you well, finding out what matters to you, what you enjoy and what you want to achieve. We work with you so you can build confidence, become more independent, try new things, or simply live the life that feels right for you.

What we love doing together in Slough

Everyone has their own interests, so no day looks the same. Some of the people we support enjoy heading to social clubs with their peers, whilst others undertake voluntary work in the local area.

It’s really about what you want – whether that’s going out independently, heading out with a friend, or having colleagues support you on a trip. There’s also local accessible bus and train services, which helps everyone stay connected with the community.

Our homes are close to Slough town centre, offering the convenience and energy of urban living, with easy access to shops, cafés, restaurants, parks and leisure facilities. Our homes are located in residential neighbourhoods, providing a calmer setting while still benefiting from excellent transport links and regular bus routes.

There are plenty of opportunities to get out and about – whether that’s a short trip into town which is only a ten minute walk away, or a visit to our local, beautiful parks for a breath of fresh air. With strong transport connections, including quick links to London, Windsor and the surrounding areas, it’s easy to keep up with hobbies, visit family and everyday routines.
