Catherine Care is more than just a service, it’s the kind of place where smiles are contagious, and everyone belongs.  

The whole building is full of energy, laughter and connection – from the moment you walk through the door, you can feel the buzz. Music, chatter and laughter fill the space as friends catch up, share jokes, and everyone gets ready for another day of fun. 

People love coming here because there’s always something to look forward to. Whether that’s preparing for the next show, learning a new skill in our woodwork sessions or busting a move and singing at the top of lungs in ‘Loud and Lively’!  

Every day brings something new to enjoy and that’s the way we like it! 

We have our very own theatre stage, complete with props, costumes and professional lighting – it’s truly lights, camera, action! From rehearsing lines and designing sets to stepping into the spotlight on performance day, our shows are full of fun, teamwork and give everyone the chance to shine. 

Alongside our performing arts sessions, we focus on life skills, communication and wellbeing –  helping everyone grow in independence and confidence. In our very own beauty salon, you can enjoy a pamper session, paint your nails, have your hair styled or simply relax with a soothing face mask. It’s all about feeling good, expressing yourself and taking time for self-care. 

Our tea-room is a welcoming space where we prepare and serve lunches, cakes and sweet treats for the everyone to purchase for their lunch – all whilst learning new skills in cooking, customer service and teamwork along the way. 

Our allotment patch is a place to get hands-on and grow fresh vegetables and flowers, while our sensory rooms offer a calming retreat to unwind, relax and enjoy a quieter moment. We also run ‘Gentle Exercise’ – physiotherapy sessions to support movement, strength and wellbeing in a fun, person-centred way. 

And if you catch us out and about, it’s probably whilst we’re performing at the hospital, elderly home or for a charity event – we’re big on giving back to our local community.
