Life at The Beeches

The moment you enter The Beeches, you’re greeted by the warmth of a true family home.

There’s a wonderful balance here, with moments of peaceful calm alongside a lively, welcoming buzz that brings everyone together.

Set within its own tranquil grounds, The Beeches, previously an old vicarage, offers a welcoming and homely environment. It feels like a world away from everything else – yet it’s perfectly placed, close to everything you could need.

With two ground floor rooms and six first floor rooms, in the main house, and two purpose-built annexes situated in the garden. Whether we’re gathering in the main house to cosy up in the living room, sharing a meal in the kitchen, or enjoying a moment of quiet in their own space, there’s always a sense of belonging and connection.

What we love doing at The Beeches

There’s never a dull moment at The Beeches! At home, we enjoy being creative through arts and crafts, gardening come rain or shine, and competitively playing bingo, hosting quizzes or tournaments on our full-size pool table. We’re also big rugby fans – the scores, latest games and league tables are always a topic of conversation!

Out and about, we love being a part of our community – whether it’s trips to cafés and shops, attending social evenings and discos, joining the Men in Sheds group, or taking part in half marathons. And of course, we can’t say no to the occasional trip to the cinema – complete with a massive box of popcorn!  We’re all about achieving our goals, with some of us are learning to ride motorbikes or drive.

What makes The Beeches special

1

Our beautiful garden and grounds are a big part of what makes life here so enjoyable. We spend time tending to plants, watching the local wildlife, and relaxing with our two much-loved cats, Tom and Jerry!

2

The full-size pool table is a favourite spot for friendly (but competitive!) games and socialising. It brings everyone together and adds to the lively, homely atmosphere.

3

We have two purpose-built annexes within the grounds to offer a supportive pathway towards independence for those ready for the next step.

Local area

Nestled in a quiet spot yet close to everything you need, The Beeches offers the best of both worlds. The home sits within its own grounds, giving a peaceful, countryside feel while still being near local shops, pubs, libraries, the canal, and nearby waterfalls.

The nearest town is Morriston, with Swansea just a short drive further. We’re also only 30 minutes from the beach, perfect for days out by the sea.

With such a beautiful and convenient setting, there’s always somewhere to explore right on our doorstep.
