Springfield House is a large, modern home in a residential setting, two miles from Gloucester city centre. The home supports up to seven women with learning disabilities, mental health conditions and associated complex needs.
The detached property is in an ideal location, providing a safe and supportive environment, but with easy access to the city centre and its amenities, including Gloucester Leisure Centre, local colleges, Gloucester Docks and the busy town centre.
Spacious accommodation includes two single bedrooms on the ground floor and five more on the first floor, all fully ensuite, as well as another, separate, large bathroom. Springfield has a large communal lounge next to the dining room, which encourages communication and promotes a friendly sociable atmosphere. There is also a smaller quiet room and a well-equipped, modern kitchen leading out to a safe, secure garden.
The large dining area also acts as a space for activities and hobbies, such as dancing and pottery, which are run by external providers. It leads onto a patio at the back of the garden, with steps down to a lawn area - perfect for picnics during the summer.
