Opened as recently as summer 2019, after a bespoke refurbishment, Ridgeway House in Swindon supports up to eight men and women of various ages with mental health conditions and associated complex needs.
The three-storey property provides eight ensuite bedrooms, as well as spacious communal areas including a large lounge for leisure and socialising and a separate quiet lounge, a shared kitchen and utility. Ridgeway has a very large rear garden with a separate activities building. The home also has its own transport for local travel, visits and outings.
Everyone living at Ridgeway House has a bespoke support plan, based on their personal preferences, likes and dislikes and goals. Staff aim to support each person to develop self-confidence and day-to-day living skills, with the aim of moving on to a more independent lifestyle.
