Fifteen minutes’ walk from Lymington town centre, in the beautiful New Forest, Holly Lodge supports up to eleven men and women of mixed ages, with moderate to severe learning difficulties and autism.
Holly Lodge is a large home with plenty of communal areas for leisure and socialising, including a shared lounge and an activities room. All the bedrooms are en-suite and are currently undergoing some exciting refurbishments. The bedrooms are upstairs, ensuring everyone has their own private, quiet space. There is also huge garden; including a smaller, secret garden tucked away within it.
In addition to the main building, there are two separate self-contained annexes – one with one bedroom and another with two - providing flexibility for people who prefer to live on their own but still enjoy the company of others.
Those we support at Holly Lodge are a lively and active group. They get involved in a broad range of tailored, individual activities to support ongoing personal development, as well as group pastimes including self-organised arts and crafts and frequent trips around the New Forest and the nearby beaches.
Holly Lodge is staffed on a 24-hour basis and also offers in-house positive behaviour support to help with emotional and general wellbeing. The staff are a mix of old and young. As well as the bright, energetic, younger members of the team, there are highly-experienced support staff. Overall, they ensure a relaxed, fun atmosphere in the home.
