Bridgman house will have its own Day Activity Coordinator, who will develop individual and group activity programmes. Activities could include anything from music, to baking and arts and crafts, all tailored to residents’ needs, preferences and capabilities. There is a separate quiet lounge, providing areas for relaxation, independence, creative activities, and internet access.
The home is well served by public transport so there is easy access to local leisure, recreational and educational trips and activities in the community. As with all Choice Care homes, Bridgman House will have its own transport for group outings.

Bridgman House is a brand new Choice Care residential home that will offer care and support for up to 12 individuals with mental health conditions.
Bridgman House is a spacious 10 bedroom bungalow with additional 2 apartments. The home is designed to support people primarily with mental health support needs such as Bipolar disorder, Schizophrenia, Personality Disorder but also other conditions such as Autism.
The apartments provide annexe style accommodation for individuals who benefit from a more bespoke environment and support.
The new home will also have two lounges, a dining room, an office, a meeting room, a kitchen, a laundry room and a bathroom. There will be two garden areas and parking for 9 vehicles. All accommodation will be ground floor. The annexes and bedrooms are fully wheelchair accessible.
