Ballards Ash is a spacious and attractive former farmhouse on the edge of the village of Wootton Bassett, in the heart of the Wiltshire countryside, within easy reach of Swindon. The home supports up to nine young adults with moderate to severe learning disabilities, autism and associated complex needs.
Spacious accommodation includes nine ensuite single bedrooms – three on the ground floor and six upstairs – a large main lounge for socialising and relaxation, a quiet lounge, recently modernised kitchen, dining rooms, sensory room and a day services activity area.
Outside is a large, safe garden, divided into relaxation and recreation areas, with a summer house and patio.
Ballards Ash has a Day Activities Coordinator who develops individually tailored activity programmes based on individual preference and capability. In addition, the home has its own transport for trips to local community leisure, recreational and educational facilities, as well as regular outings further afield.
