Appleton House provides seven single, self-contained flatlets for men of various ages with mental health disorders, autism and associated complex needs.
Each flatlet at Appleton includes an individual ensuite bedroom and kitchenette, ideal for promoting greater self-confidence and independence. There is also a large communal lounge and dining area with a TV and pool table, a quiet room, a computer room and a specially designed training kitchen to encourage cooking and budgeting skills.
The location of the home, in Bitterne, one mile from Southampton city centre, makes for easy access to public transport and recreational, leisure and college facilities in the city centre. The home also has its own vehicle.
