St. Andrews is a large detached bungalow for five adults with learning disabilities and associated complex needs. It is located close to Fareham town centre (about one mile away), and easily accessible on foot, by public transport or using our own home’s vehicle.
All five single bedrooms are en-suite and decorated and furnished to a high standard. Additionally, the accommodation includes a lounge for relaxation and socialising and a well-equipped kitchen/dining room. Patio doors from the lounge lead into a lovely, large, terraced and landscaped garden with several patio and relaxation areas, and views of the surrounding countryside. There is also a summer house giving residents another area to relax or participate in the various art and craft activities available to them. In addition, we use our own transport for leisure, recreational and educational trips in the community.
St Andrews provides a warm and homely setting for the people living here. Several individuals have been supported by us for a number of years and are very settled and happy here. They are supported 24 hours a day by a consistent team of staff that encourages and promotes independence. All are well known and respected in the local community.
We provide many activities in-house and use the company vehicle to take residents to outside activities colleges and on holiday. Others that are able and have developed sufficient independence living skills, are supported to move on to more independent living, such as supported living accommodation.
