Not only a wonderful horse-riding experience but a royal encounter too...
People we support at Willow House in Amesbury had a wonderful day on September 14th, as they got to meet HRH The Duchess of Edinburgh while at their horse-riding session at GUL Riding School for individuals with complex needs.
Tash, Manager at Willow House, said: We had such a fantastic day! One of the people we support rode her horse brilliantly and was watched by HRH The Duchess of Edinburgh, while another got to meet her too! I’m over the moon that both had the opportunity to show a royal that they are more than someone with a disability and capable of such great things. Both the people we support are non-verbal so this was a very exciting opportunity for them – we are so proud of them both!
