This week we have been focussing on apprenticeships across Choice Care Group and on the theme Skills for Life.
As today is Apprentice Wednesday, we’ll be focussing on all our wonderful learners across Choice Care!
Before we go on to meet Emily and Belle – two of our learners at Choice Care – let’s take a look at some Choice Care apprenticeship facts!
Did you know that we currently have 122 people in learning across Choice Care?
- 35 people studying Level 2 qualifications
- 62 people studying Level 3 qualifications, and
- 25 people studying Level 5 qualifications!
That’s a lot of learning!
Choice Care is also in the top 100 Apprenticeship Employers for the second consecutive year in 2023! This recognition is testament to our hardworking apprentices and our colleagues who facilitate their learning and care experience – and also reflects the commitment to excellence in training and development at Choice Care.
To find out more about the apprenticeship experience here at Choice Care, let’s talk to Emily, Team Leader at Stroud Lodge who has been with Choice Care since December 2013. Emily is studying Diploma level 5.

We also have a quick chat with Adam, one of our Assistant Regional Directors who tells us about studying for his level 5 qualifications: Brilliant experience, from start to finish. Developed new skills, new ways of working and learnt things I never even knew existed, which I now apply to my job role every day and through this I’m able to support and mentor others even more effectively.
When we asked Adam about his aspirations for the future and how the qualifications will help him with his career goals – he said: My personal aspirations for the future are just to be the best version of myself whilst continuing to try and develop my career with Choice Care. Completing the apprenticeship has really helped me develop in my current role as an Assistant Regional Director. This plays a huge part in helping and supporting all of the services, staff and people we support.
Thanks so much to you all! Keep on reading our daily updates this National Apprenticeship Week!
