3 July 2019, Central London
The British Institute of Human Rights invites you to a half day event in Central London to launch their new online advocacy tool: Know Your Human Rights.
This new interactive website will support people to know when their human rights may be at risk in mental health and mental capacity services, and how to use the law to resolve these issues in everyday discussions with staff.
This event is open to people with mental health and/or capacity issues, their families, carers, support workers and advocates. You will have the opportunity to learn more about how human rights law can help you in your everyday interactions with health and care services, and to use our new online tool and hear about how it has helped people during its development, and how you can make best use of this new resource.
