Everyone had a fantastic day at the annual Choice Care Football Tournament, which took place at Sunnyside on Wednesday 12 July. Teams from across Choice Care came to take part, support and cheer on.
The first teams to play were Sunnyside House against Stroud Lodge. All players were able to debut their football skills, with a stunning goal from Sunnyside House, giving them the win!
The match followed up with Sunnyside House vs Hurst House. Hurst House played very well to take the win. Cambria House then entered the game where residents showcased their award-winning football skills!
The Semi Final left us all so very curious as to who was going to battle it out in the final, with a game in hand: Cambria House vs Sunnyside House… Cambria House took the win!
As the final approached, the two homes battling it out for the winner’s title were: Hurst House vs Cambria House. The game was played brilliantly by both teams, leaving spectators curious as to who was going to take home the winning trophy.
The results of the tournament are as follows:
FIRST PLACE… Hurst House
SECOND PLACE… Cambria House
THIRD PLACE… Sunnyside House and Stroud Lodge
A huge well done to every single player, best efforts were definitely given and that is appreciated by all!
The day was a great success and everyone received a gold medal for participation - but the best prize was seeing everyone leave with the biggest smiles on their faces. Another huge thank you to everyone who attended. Congratulations to Hurst House for being the 2023 winners! The countdown begins to see who will bring home that trophy next year….
