Autistic teens targeted by drug gangs

Youth worker Paul McKenzie has suggested that autistic teenagers are being targeted by drug gangs to transport drugs across county lines. He suggests that autistic teenagers’ natural trusting nature and misunderstanding of social situations may lead them to be coerced into illegal activities in the hope of creating friendships. The gangs abusing this trust appear to be growing, is there more that the police can be doing to prevent the abuse of autistic teenager in this way?
