Hurst House is a large, spacious detached house in Swindon, just two miles from the town centre. It has developed into a home for 10 older, middle-aged adults with learning disabilities and associated complex needs.
There are six single bedrooms on the ground floor, all with en-suite facilities, plus a side exit to the garden that can be accessed using a ramp. There is also a separate sensory room, lounge, office, kitchen and large spacious conservatory, as well as a dining area that leads out to a flat, safe, enclosed garden with summer house and gazebo. On the first floor, there are three further en-suite bedrooms, a separate bathroom, quiet lounge and office.
In addition, there is a separate self-contained annex that suits an individual who prefers to live on their own but with the opportunity to use the facilities of the main home and join in shared activities of their choice.
The home has its own transport for leisure, recreational and educational trips and activities in the community.
