Appletrees is a large, detached country house registered for eight individuals, offering support to adults with moderate to severe learning disabilities and associated complex needs. The home is set in beautiful open countryside in the village of Upper Bucklebury, six miles from Newbury town centre.
The accommodation consists of a large lounge, dining room, central office, kitchen, landing with three single bedrooms and a separate bathroom. Upstairs there are five further bedrooms and separate bathrooms. The lounge leads onto a wooden veranda into a large garden that is ideal for summer activities and provides a relaxing and safe environment for service users.
Situated within the grounds we have Treetops, a separate, purpose-built day services centre, where sessions for education, art, craft and sensory activities are held. In addition, we have two vehicles for leisure, recreational and educational trips and activities in the community.
