Woodlands is a large detached home in the village of Bartley in the New Forest, offering residential placements to six female adults with learning disabilities and associated complex emotional and behavioural needs. It provides 24-hour support from a trained and experienced staff team, with a clear and structured approach. An individualised day care programme is in place, offering a variety of social, occupational and leisure activities.
The spacious home offers individual rooms, all with en-suite facilities. It has a large lounge, leading to a conservatory and a safe and secure garden. The home has its own vehicles for access to the community and nearby Southampton on a regular basis for leisure, recreational and educational activities.
Woodlands offers a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, where residents can live together as a large family. The ownership and safekeeping of pets is supported, which encourages and increases the responsibilities of each person living in the home.
