Care Services in Oxford & Oxfordshire
Our social care services within Oxford and beyond are designed to give individuals the support that is right for them. We achieve this by tailoring our care package to suit each person’s requirements, which includes a strong emphasis on on-going education and personal development, social integration, leisure and vocational opportunities. All staff are fully trained.
Our approach to delivering the support is always totally person centred and individually designed for the specific needs of person.
Emotional and behavioural support is provided by our own in-house psychology team who are very much ‘hands on’ and accessible to the people we support.
Choice Care Group has 44 homes offering our Care Services. Within Oxfordshire itself, we have Gosford House, which is located in Kiddlington. The house supports eight individuals aged from 16 years and above all of whom have recently left school. Each individual has a learning disability, complex needs and autism. The property itself is very spacious, has several communal living area and on-site activities rooms, including a fully equipped sensory room which makes an ideal location for engaging individuals in Intensive Interaction therapy sessions.
We are also in the process of opening Meylan House in Didcot. This will be a six bed home with a separate, self-contained 1 person annexe for people with a learning disability and complex emotional and behavioural needs.
