Choice Care Group to Open New Home in Southsea
Specialist care provider Choice Care Group is preparing to open a new home for individuals with a mental health disorder or complex needs in Southsea, Hampshire.
Victoria Lodge is a large, Georgian-style property located in the heart of Southsea, just minutes from a wide range of local amenities and very close to the seafront. The bedrooms are all very spacious, and each has its own en-suite facilities. The communal areas are also well-proportioned and spacious.
It will provide high levels of 24-hour support for nine individuals, including those moving back into the community from a hospital setting, with a focus on service users achieving positive outcomes and moving through a care pathway on to more independent living, wherever possible.
Around 30 new jobs have been created for care workers at the home which officially opens in August, but is taking referrals now.
Choice Care Group provides support to 304 individuals aged 16 and over who have a learning disabilitiy, mental health disorder and complex needs at 39 homes across Berkshire, Wiltshire, Hampshire and Gloucestershire.
