Heronsmede
Heronsmede is a spacious, detached home with an integrated adjoining bungalow, situated in Old Windsor near to the River Thames and just three miles from both Staines and Windsor. The home provides support to eight adults with moderate to severe learning disabilities, challenging behaviours and associated complex needs. There are four bedrooms in the bungalow and four on the first floor in themain house. Local shops, pubs and restaurants are nearby.
Individuals living at Heronsmede have access to a range of spacious communal areas, including two dining areas, computer room, sensory room and three bathrooms. In addition both the lounges lead out into a large, safe, level, open garden.
Two day care facilities are included on the site, but nearby community, leisure and educational facilities are used considerably, accessed by public transport and the home’s two vehicles.
