We are committed to working in partnership with families and colleagues across other organisations to achieve the best possible outcome for each individual we support. We welcome and actively seek feedback both positive and where there is room for improvement. This can be done in a variety of ways, such as through our Quality Assurance process or our on-line feedback form.
However, the most frequent form of feedback we receive is through our day to day contact with those involved in the lives of the people we support. These are some of their comments:
Thank you and all at Choice Care for all you a doing for ‘K’. For the first time since we started this process (3 years ago), we are all feeling very confident that the decisions we made for him are the right ones, and that Choice Care are by far and away the best provider for our son.

Mother’s day 2015 was not Mrs G regular day to visit her daughter but given the occasion, she felt she wanted to see her and therefore popped in unexpectedly. As she went upstairs to her daughter’s room, she overheard a carer (Megan) talking with her daughter. She heard her daughter laughing and that she was obviously very happy. Mrs G said it was the best mother’s day present she could ever have and that it had bought tears to her eyes.

“I would again like to take this opportunity to thank Tracey and the entire team at Hurst House for their ongoing and exceptional support for ‘P’ given their responses to his changing needs. I am very confident ‘P’ will continue to have every opportunity to be as settled as possible and to help him maintain both his physical and emotional wellbeing”
The sister of ‘W’, who lives at Sunnyside House in Gloucester has said that they couldn’t be any happier with the support and kindness that her sister receives, the whole family are delighted that ‘K’ has found a home.
The care manager of both ‘Y’ & ‘S’, who both also live at Sunnyside House, has said that we have done a wonderful job with both of these complex individuals and she is delighted with how far they have both come since being placed here. ‘S’ s parents have also said they cannot thank us enough for all the care and support we provide for their son.

It was welcome news when Choice shared plans about developing a highly supported service locally, for people diagnosed with a mental illness. Good working relationships were formed and communication channels were always open, which was particularly helpful when the service first opened and there were processes and procedures to bed in.
That was a few years ago. I am now able to quote colleagues who say, “Choice Care is a brilliant provider” ….. “They go above and beyond”. The organisation works locally with some very challenging people; for some it is a case of being given a chance to live in a community setting after a long period of hospitalisation; for others, having support to maintain well being and prevent relapse is their success. Jointly working with statutory staff, resident’s goals are identified whatever they are and people are supported to succeed.

I am so pleased (my client) is doing so well. And that is due to the work all of the staff and (Manager) have put in. Well done to the team for all their support.
